Mission Teams
New Beginnings Missions Teams - NBM travels to Africa and India, as well as other areas each year to impart the Gospel into the nations. Each year we are adding new places to our mission outreaches. New Beginnings Ministries is all about teams worldwide to strengthen mission works, maintain benevolent outreaches, and assist in world evangelism. Whether working by ourselves or in conjunction with other ministries, our heart is to reach nations with the reality of Jesus Christ. These teams are our joy and delight to bring light to a dark world. While at home, we counsel, mentor and teach to develop Christians to their full potential just like we do overseas.
We conduct trips overseas to see the Gospel in Action! Our teams cover many areas of ministry and are from small impact groups of 5 people to 50 or more in some of our teen or medical teams. Our teams are composed of people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds to bring different flavors of Jesus to our hurting world. Without your support there would be no medicines for the nurses to distribute and no nurses who could go. About 3000- 5000 are seen in the clinics on a two-week trip with a team of 12. With larger groups we hope to reach 10,000 or more in the future. Malaria, typhoid, cholera, infections, fungus, and AIDS are killing the young and feeble adults.
Without our dedicated nurses, children like this burned child would not get the proper care and could become infected or maybe die from the infection. Leg wounds and fungus wounds are easily treated in the US but most do not even have these simple medicines where we go.
Not only do they visit our doctors and nurses, but they can also visit the dentists where 237 teeth can be pulled in one day. Many of the dentists have to pull teeth because they do not have toothbrushes or toothpaste to keep the teeth healthy and no dental care to clean and shine what they do have.
They can obtain reading glasses. There is nothing more exciting that providing reading glasses to an elderly man who can read the Bible again after many years of not being able to read it at all; they usually cry with joy.
One year, we worked with a mission group called A.C.E. (American Caribbean Experience) in Jamaica helping an orphanage and assisting local churches. It is a great first start for those interested in future mission works to more intense countries. This team painted & repaired a church, cleaned an orphanage, loved and taught children the gospel message, and brought the love of Christ to those with another lifestyle!
NBM funds feeding programs that operate every Sunday morning out of churches where hundreds receive needed staples to survive. At the present time the only caring places are in these churches. Our team members and partners are part of this supply line for these people.
We also support an orphanage of 35 in India and another AIDS orphanage of 250 in Africa. These children are left as toddlers or even babies when their parents die. These orphanages are growing daily. Children are left to take care of themselves as parents go our to find a job and while they are gone many of the little ones are victimized by roaming band of thugs and drunks….left at their mercy. They have a Christian school provided where they are learning an trade & the Word of God so that they do not have to live in a slum forever or stay in poverty.
They sleep 6 kids to one top bunk and 6 to one bottom bunk so we are raising money to build more beds for the 250 children. They are fed two good meals; porridge in the morning and meat with vegetable stews over rice or similar meals in the evening. This year we bought each their own cup, plate,.bowl, and spoon and they said, “Look at how important we are to God that he has provided our own things now rather than sharing the 50 plates we had before. We are always collecting items for the schools, orphans and clinics.

New Beginnings needs medical, dental and eyeglass professionals, evangelists, street preachers, crusaders, disciplers for church & leadership staffs, children’s & youth ministers, or musical and singing gifts. Prayer warriors, teachers, pastors, church workers are all needed, and anyone who just wants to help or love others.
