We do not handle substance abuse issues, schizophrenia, psychoses, or other major mental illnesses but refer out to Christian professionals or facilities that can help.
“Ask the Counselor”: Marcia, a counselor for over 18 years, will come and share at your church or group about any area of counseling and spend an hour answering your questions regarding any subject that is needed in your groupa. She comes for only a small love offering. She will help you find both resources and answers to biblical ways to address your problems. FEES:
Our normal fee is $75.00 per 1 hour session. We also have a sliding-scale fee option for those struggling. NBCC accepts check, cash and debit or credit card. Please call our office to Schedule an Appointment. Begin the paperwork at the end of this page.
INSURANCE:
Due to past delays in payments, we do not accept insurance but can refer those who do.
CONFIDENTIALITY: All sessions are confidential and our files are kept locked. We do abide by the HIPPA guidelines for disclosure of private health-care information.
PHONE COUNSELING:
This option is great for those that live outside the area or have a lack transportation. Please fill out the intake forms and mail them back or call us with your mailing address. Phone sessions are one hour; with your long distance charge. Your calls, letters or emails are private and confidential. Any paperwork, handouts, or books can be mailed to you. Call 770 831-1799

PREMARITAL COUNSELING: Seven 1 hour sessions of premarital includes the following topics: Communication and listening skills, conflict resolutions, maturity for marriage, Love versus Infatuation, main problems in marriage/statistics, pillars of good relationships, hinderances to intimacy & intimacy needs, male/female differences, temperament tests & differences, financial issues, children, sexual issues, roles in marriage, influence of family & previous relationships, list of items to be discussed before marriage, and building your mates self esteem/image.
You Can Choose What to Believe: For the Christian, we work with all denominations. We work with people where they stand in doctrine and are not dogmatic or pushy, desiring to see the body of Christ grow and develop in their local church. We give scriptures for your interpretation. We work with local pastors rather than against them and do not proselyte people into our individual home churches or beliefs.
For the Non-Christian, we have worked with other people who do not want a Christian slant or prayer and would prefer that we not share in those areas. We will then work with those clients on what is healthy and balanced for life. Tell your counselor at the beginning which you prefer.
Wholeness: We are dedicated to assist people into a process of wholeness. We believe that man is a tripartite being, Spirit, Soul, and Body (1 Thess. 5:23), and that God intended for his people to function from a place of wholeness. We look for balance in all that we do.
